Job summary

European Wax Center in Woodbridge, VA is seeking an energetic Guest Service/Sales Associate to join our front desk team. You will warmly welcome guests, explain waxing pass options, promote current promotions, prebook appointments, and support sales of our retail line.

The position offers a flexible schedule (Part Time/Full Time) with base hourly pay plus a sales commission. You will contribute to a clean, welcoming lobby and a positive, team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• One year of related service or retail experience, with sales preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for guest interactions.
• Ability to use point-of-sale systems and computer technology.
• Adaptable to varying guest personalities and remain calm under pressure.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly and inviting demeanor, setting the tone for a positive experience.
• Engage guests in meaningful conversations to understand their specific needs, preferences, and skincare goals.
• Proactively educate guests on all our wax pass options, current promotions, the benefits of waxing regularly, and prebooking. Be knowledgeable on all aspects of EWC, including our retail line.
• Uphold Artemis Wax standards and protocols at all times. Address guest inquiries, book reservations, and resolve concerns in a prompt and professional manner, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Maintain an organized and inviting front desk and lobby area, upholding brand standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Foster a positive and collaborative team environment by assisting colleagues and sharing product knowledge.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to stay on top of brand knowledge and sales techniques.

Work Environment

• Must be able to work effectively in stressful environments, communicate with others, and accept constructive feedback from direct supervisors.
• Must be able to adapt to changes in activity frequently as the business requires.
• Most work performed indoors. Temperature is moderate and controlled.
• Must be able to stand or sit at a desk for up to hours per day. Standing, walking, and sitting are required. Length of time at these tasks varies from day to day.
• Must be able to exert well‑paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with clients, co-workers, and management.

Qualifications
