Job summary

Courtyard by Marriott Northwest in Henrico, VA is looking for a Hotel Guest Service Agent to create a welcoming and seamless guest experience from check-in to check-out.

You will manage reservations, process payments, assist guests with inquiries, and coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to fulfill requests.

Open availability for 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m. shifts, weekends and holidays is required; multilingual abilities and a professional demeanor are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in customer service or hospitality preferred but not required.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with reservation software.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with a professional first impression.
• Manage check-in/check-out, verify guest information and process payments.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries and resolve issues to maintain guest satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate reservations and guest preferences in the system.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to fulfill guest needs.
• Provide information on hotel services, local attractions, and dining options.
• Handle calls and emails professionally and direct to appropriate departments.
