Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Check-In and Check-Out: Assisting guests with the check-in and check-out process efficiently, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
  • Reservations Management: Handling room reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately while maintaining up-to-date records.
  • Customer Service: Responding promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, complaints, and requests, aiming to exceed expectations.
  • Payment Processing: Handling transactions, including room charges, deposits, and refunds, with accuracy and compliance.
  • Communication Hub: Coordinating with hotel departments to address guest needs and resolve issues promptly.
  • Providing Information: Offering details about hotel services, amenities, local attractions, and transportation.
  • Problem-Solving: Effectively resolving guest concerns or escalating issues when necessary.
  • Maintaining Records: Keeping accurate records of guest stays, payments, and interactions in the PMS.
  • Promoting Hotel Services: Upselling rooms and amenities to enhance guest experience.
  • Ensuring Security: Following safety protocols, verifying IDs, and monitoring for suspicious activity.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in customer-facing roles is preferred, with strong interpersonal skills and a focus on service excellence.
  • Familiarity with computers and reservation or property management systems (PMS).
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience handling guest complaints or conflicts calmly and effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, such as answering phones, reservations, and assisting guests.
  • Knowledge of front desk operations and check-in/check-out procedures is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays, demonstrates adaptability.

Applicants should have flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
