Job Description

The primary duties of the guest service representative are to assist guests with check-in & check-out processes, provide guests with hotel services information, and accommodate guests during their stay in an attentive, courteous, and friendly manner.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Guest Check-in And Out: Perform duties as outlined in the Front Office Training Procedures. Check guests in and out of the hotel in a courteous and pleasant manner. Use appropriate phrases and greetings. Provide information about hotel services, points of interest, and entertainment attractions, making reservations as needed.
  • Guest Services: Offer assistance to guests' individual needs and requests. Respond to guest needs promptly and maintain confidentiality. Conduct yourself in a friendly and attentive manner during all guest interactions.
  • Guest Reservations: Use proper phone and reservation etiquette, describe hotel amenities, quote rates accurately, and capture reservations.
  • Front Office Functions: Manage cash drawer and credit card system accurately. Operate phone system efficiently. Communicate shift information to the next shift and supervisor. Follow safety policies and procedures.

Salary: $15.47/hr
