Guest Service Agent Overview:

The Guest Service Agent is a fun, yet challenging role within the hotel, often the first and last point of contact for guests. They have a significant impact on the overall guest experience. Because of the visibility of this role, most guests will contact the front desk to resolve questions or concerns during their stay. The agent must think quickly, handle multiple situations, prioritize, and multitask to ensure guest satisfaction, all with a positive and pleasant demeanor. A "can-do" attitude is essential for this role.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Greeting and thanking guests sincerely and warmly.
  2. Checking guests in and out.
  3. Assigning rooms and managing administrative duties.
  4. Answering phones.
  5. Posting charges to appropriate accounts.
  6. Performing daily checklist duties.
  7. Sharing information within departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
  8. Communicating with guests to meet their needs.
Job Requirements:
