Responsibilities:
- Register and assign rooms to guests.
- Issue room keys and escort instructions to Guest Service Agents or directly to guests.
- Sort and track incoming mail and messages.
- Transmit and receive messages via all communication channels.
- Answer inquiries regarding hotel services, guest registration, shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions.
- Maintain records of room availability and rates.
- Compute bills, collect payments, and make change for guests.
- Make, confirm, and cancel reservations through all communication channels.
- Post charges such as room, food, liquor, or telephone to guest bills if the interface is inoperable.
- Assist with reservations for transportation or entertainment.
- Deposit guest valuables in the hotel safe deposit box.
- Use office software accurately and efficiently.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of hotel operations, including night audit procedures.
- Communicate effectively in English with guests, staff, and vendors.
- Report information accurately.
- Assist with various office tasks as needed.
- Follow all hotel policies and procedures diligently.
- Attend required meetings.
- Complete projects and assignments professionally and thoroughly.
- Adapt to high-pressure situations and be open to change.
- Engage in personal growth and development.
- Understand all hotel departments and functions.
- Possess good mathematical and computer skills.
- Have a high school diploma; additional training or education is preferred.
- CPR and first aid training are preferred.
- Additional language skills are a plus.
Qualifications:
- High school education required; relevant training and experience preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Strong organizational and computer skills.
