Job summary

Zenith Management Company in Independence, MO is seeking a Floor Inspector to ensure cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms, surrounding corridors, public areas and to assist the Housekeepers if needed. To be courteous, pleasant and respond to the guests needs and requests in order to make their stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

The Floor Inspector must uphold Edgewater standards, report equipment issues, and support operations to ensure a smooth guest experience.

Qualifications

• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Strong guest service skills and professional demeanor.
• Effective communication with guests, management, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Zenith Management Company standards.
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and report any equipment issues to the Building Manager or Housekeeping Executive.
• Inspect bed and bathroom linens for cleanliness and condition; remove items not up to standard.
• Report to Building Manager or Housekeeping Executive any unexpected vacant rooms.
• Inspect all check-outs to assess room condition and departure status.
• Verify vacancy of rooms on check-out and update room status in the system.
• Assist Housekeepers as needed.
• Check closets for cleanliness and remove unnecessary items.
• Be knowledgeable about fire alarm and evacuation procedures.
• Must be MSDS trained and complete AWAIR program.
• Perform any other duties as requested by Housekeeping Executives or Building Manager.
• Maintain confidentiality of business information.
