Job summary

Comfort Suites - Colonial Heights, operated by Kalyan Hospitality, seeks a diligent Guest Room Inspector to ensure rooms meet cleanliness and safety standards before check-in. You will inspect, document issues, and coordinate with Housekeeping and Maintenance to resolve them promptly.

The role requires keen attention to detail, strong communication, and a customer-service mindset to uphold our brand’s hospitality standards across all guest accommodations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in hotel housekeeping, maintenance, or quality control is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify cleanliness and maintenance issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections of guest rooms daily to verify cleanliness, functionality, and overall presentation.
• Identify and document maintenance issues, damages, or missing items and communicate these to the appropriate departments for immediate resolution.
• Ensure all guest rooms are stocked with necessary amenities and comply with brand standards and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to prioritize and follow up on corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and report trends or recurring issues to management for continuous improvement.
• Assist in training housekeeping staff on quality standards and inspection procedures as needed.
• Respond promptly to guest feedback related to room conditions and work to resolve concerns efficiently.
