Job summary

Homewood Suites Navy Yard is seeking a Rooms Inspector to ensure guest rooms meet resale standards and to train staff on cleaning procedures. You will supervise attendants, inspect rooms, and ensure compliance with health and safety rules.

The role requires 1–2 years of related experience, high school diploma or equivalent, and strong supervisory abilities to maintain high guest satisfaction and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Housekeeping and hotel services, policies and operations.
• Supervisory skills required to lead staff and maintain standards.
• Ability to interpret reports and use data to improve cleanliness and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coach Room Attendants and Linen Runners.
• Inspect guest rooms and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Assign tasks and review special requests to keep housekeeping operations running smoothly.
• Respond to guest requests and issues to maintain satisfaction; log lost and found items as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
