Job summary

Gale-Hotels in Miami Beach is seeking a Room Attendant to clean and service guest rooms, ensuring comfort and cleanliness for guests. You will respond to guest queries, restock supplies, and maintain tidy corridors and public areas.

The role requires at least 1 year of housekeeping experience, ability to work with cleaning equipment, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred to assist a diverse guest base.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Room Attendant or in housekeeping.
• Experience with cleaning and maintenance tasks in large organizations.
• Experience using industrial cleaning equipment and products.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and respond to queries.
• Change bed linen and make beds.
• Replace used towels and bathroom amenities.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Dust and polish furniture.
• Empty trash and ashtrays.
• Restock minibar beverages and items.
• Clean public areas such as corridors.
• Report technical issues and maintenance needs.
• Update room status on assignment sheet.
• Return and restock cleaning cart at shift end.
• Follow hotel security guidelines.
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor/management.
