Courtyard By Marriott in Salisbury, NC is seeking a Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. The role includes cross-training in laundry operations and assisting with laundry duties as needed. You will work a 5-day schedule with varied hours, starting at 10:00 AM, and may include weekends.

The position emphasizes neat, clean guest rooms, high attendance, and professional conduct in line with hotel standards.

Qualifications

• Must have strong guest privacy and service standards.
• Professional and punctual with excellent attendance.
• Experience in housekeeping and laundry cross-training is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years in branded hotel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning and preparation of rooms to ready status.
• Maintain clean and orderly housekeeping cart.
• Report discrepancies to supervisor.
• Process lost and found items per policy.
• Organize linen closet and maintain supplies.
• Keep supply cart and equipment neat and functional.
• Ensure safety and security of areas.
• Assist in other hotel areas to maintain cleanliness.
• Assist guests with requests promptly.
• Know emergency procedures and respond appropriately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
