Job summary

Winwood Hospitality Group is seeking a Houseman/Room Attendant/Housekeeper for its Cary, NC property. The role focuses on cleaning guest rooms and public areas to Marriott brand standards, while delivering courteous service and maintaining safety throughout the shift.

You will follow stay‑over, new guest, and deep cleaning procedures, interact professionally with guests, and support the housekeeping team in meeting quality goals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred but not essential.
• Previous related experience in housekeeping, hospitality or cleaning service is strongly preferred.
• Excellent teamwork and communication with guests and colleagues.
• Ability to follow assignment sheets and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Exceed guest and team expectations.
• Maintain safety and security of guest suites and public areas.
• Understand Health Department standards of cleanliness and sanitizing procedures.
• Clean and restock rooms, conduct stay-overs and deep cleaning as required.
• Report maintenance problems and complete repair orders.
• Assist with laundry duties and linen handling.
• Follow uniform and safety guidelines, including proper footwear.
