Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain clean, inviting guestrooms and deliver attentive service to all guests. You will perform daily cleaning tasks, stock supplies, and support housekeeping operations in a fast-paced hotel environment.

The role requires physical stamina, clear communication, and adherence to safety and cleanliness standards to ensure guest satisfaction across multiple floors and areas.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent or experience in a hotel/related field.
• Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and 20 pounds frequently.
• Ability to stand for the entire shift.
• Effective verbal and written communication with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
• Prepare guest rooms and supplies for housekeeping cart setup.
• Remove trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
• Maintain cleanliness of hallways, public areas and closets.
• Restock cleaning cart for the next day and replenish chemicals.
• Report missing items and any maintenance repairs to supervisors.
• Handle Lost and Found items per standards.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
