Job summary

The Industrialist Hotel in downtown Pittsburgh is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain cleanliness and comfort for guests across all guest rooms and public areas.

Under supervision of the Executive Housekeeper, you will follow established housekeeping procedures, ensure high standards, handle linens, and assist with guest requests while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.

Physical stamina for lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.
• Hospitality environment experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms, including bathrooms, beds, floors, and amenities.
• Change linens, replace towels, and restock supplies.
• Ensure rooms meet cleanliness and brand standards.
• Report maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of hallways, carts, and storage areas.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper chemical handling.
• Respond to guest requests courteously and professionally.
• Assist with laundry or public area cleaning as assigned.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
