Job summary

The Industrialist in downtown Pittsburgh is seeking a Room Attendant to clean guest rooms and public areas to the highest standards. You will service bathrooms, make beds, restock supplies, and report maintenance issues.

This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and the stamina to perform physical tasks. Prior housekeeping or hospitality experience is a plus; a high school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.
• Hospitality environment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms, including bathrooms, beds, floors, and amenities.
• Change linens, replace towels, and restock supplies.
• Ensure all rooms meet cleanliness and brand standards.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or missing items promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of hallways, carts, and storage areas.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper chemical handling.
• Respond to guest requests courteously and professionally.
• Assist with laundry or public area cleaning as assigned.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

• Strong attention to detail and cleaning standards.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
