Job summary

A renowned hotel in Grand Rapids seeks a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain high standards of cleanliness for guest rooms and public areas. Responsibilities include cleaning rooms, restocking amenities, and ensuring safety through regular inspections. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and experience in hotel cleaning standards. Qualifications

• Must have basic knowledge of general cleaning principles and use of cleaning products.
• Must be able to maneuver fully loaded maid cart throughout the workday.
• Must have upper body strength to lift up to 50lbs continually throughout an 8 hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and prepares guest rooms and public areas to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Dusts and polishes furniture and fixtures, maintaining a clean facility.
• Restocks room supplies and ensures cleanliness of linen and amenities.

Skills
