Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels is hiring a Room Attendant to clean guest rooms and public spaces, assist in the laundry area, and support housekeeping operations. You will follow Sonesta Service standards and maintain a safe, sanitary environment across shifts.

The role requires prior housekeeping experience, English proficiency, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Morning/evening shifts and weekends may apply. This is an on-site position at our Phoenix-area properties.

Qualifications

• Some previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Background in extended stay industry preferred.
• Ability to speak, read and write fluent English preferred.
• Basic reading, writing and mathematical abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms and public spaces to standard.
• Make beds, dust, vacuum, sanitize bathrooms and dispose of trash.
• Notify supervisor when service is completed so rooms can be used.
• Assist Laundry Department as needed and monitor supplies.
• Support deep cleaning projects and maintain cleanliness.
• Report needed repairs or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Promote teamwork and quality service across shifts.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
