Sonesta International Hotels is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain cleanliness of guest rooms and public spaces. The role collaborates with Housekeeping Management to meet brand standards and guest expectations across diverse Sonesta properties.

Responsibilities include cleaning rooms, handling laundry when assigned, and ensuring safety and quality in daily operations. This position requires physical stamina and flexibility for shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Some previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Previous background from the extended stay industry preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English is preferred; other languages beneficial.
• Basic reading, writing and mathematical abilities are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on Sonesta Service standards in all guest interactions.
• Respond to guest complaints and requests to ensure satisfaction.
• Clean and service rooms or areas per standards (beds, dusting, vacuuming, bathrooms).
• Notify supervisor when service is completed and report unserviced rooms.
• Handle laundry: operate washers/dryers, inspect linens, store clean items.
• Minimize waste of supplies and assist with deep cleaning.
• Report repairs or unsafe conditions.
• Promote teamwork and coordinate with shifts.
• Comply with health and safety laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
