Job summary

Hyatt Regency Pittsburgh Airport is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to high standards of cleanliness.

You will stock supplies, follow entry procedures, clean rooms, replenish amenities, and report issues to supervisors while adhering to safety rules and dress code. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred and the role requires physical stamina.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of prior experience in a similar role.
• Bend and reach to dust, clean and make beds.
• Stand and walk for varying lengths of time.
• Talk to many different kinds of people to provide required services.
• Visually inspect rooms for cleanliness and guest belongings.
• Use written communication to mark completed rooms on daily paperwork.
• Move fingers, arms and hands quickly to perform cleaning duties.
• Lift all equipment and supplies on and off cart.

Responsibilities

• Stock the cart to ensure cleaning supplies and amenities are available.
• Follow knocking procedures before entering a guest room.
• Clean assigned guest rooms and replenish amenities; complete housekeeping checklist.
• Report cleaned rooms to supervisor for inspection.
• Notify damages or hazards in guest rooms.
• Maintain neatness in corridors and service areas at all times.
• Turn in lost and found items and all guest room keys.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety rules.
• Follow safety and security protocols and emergency procedures.
• Be knowledgeable about department fire prevention and emergency procedures.
• Report unsafe conditions, accidents or property loss to management.
• Maintain neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance per handbook.
• Perform related duties as requested by management.
• Assist other housekeeping personnel as needed.
