Job summary

Hyatt Regency Pittsburgh International Airport is seeking Room Attendants with a friendly, positive attitude to clean guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces according to company procedures and standards, ensuring we exceed our guests' expectations.

Responsibilities include stocking supplies, knocking before entry, replenishing amenities, and reporting to supervisors. Maintain safety, assist teammates, and uphold a neat appearance while providing excellent service to guests.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of prior experience in a similar role.
• Bend and reach to dust, clean and make beds.
• Stand and walk for varying lengths of time, often long periods.
• Talk to many different kinds of people to give information, answer questions and provide required services.
• Visually inspect rooms for cleanliness and guest belongings that have been left behind.
• Use written communication skills to mark completed rooms on daily paperwork.
• Move fingers, arms and hands quickly and easily to perform cleaning duties.
• Lift all equipment and supplies on and off cart.

Responsibilities

• Stock the cart with cleaning supplies, equipment, and amenities.
• Knock before entering a guest room and clean assigned rooms.
• Replenish amenities and complete the housekeeping checklist.
• Report cleaned rooms to supervisor for inspection.
• Notify damages or hazards in guest rooms.
• Secure room doors after exiting and maintain hallway cleanliness.
• Return lost-and-found items and keys as required.
• Follow company policies, safety, and security procedures.
• Maintain a neat, groomed appearance as per handbook.
• Assist other housekeeping staff as needed.
