Job summary

Desimone Gaming in Las Vegas is seeking a dependable Hotel Housekeeping Attendant to maintain clean and inviting guestrooms at Longhorn Casino. You will clean rooms, restock amenities, and report maintenance issues following safety guidelines.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of hotel housekeeping experience or completed housekeeping training, is 21 or older, can communicate in English, and can work day shifts including weekends and holidays in a fast-paced resort environment.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of related hotel housekeeping experience or completed training.
• Ability to work indoors around noise, dust and cigarette smoke.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and kneel for extended periods.
• Ability to maneuver and control a housekeeping cart.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• English communication skills, written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Cleans guestrooms including beds, vacuuming, trash removal and dusting surfaces.
• Replenishes amenities and information folders as needed.
• Cleans bathrooms and sanitizes basins, tubs, showers, toilets and tile floors.
• Restocks ashtrays, soaps and tissues; places bath mats and towels.
• Reports room status and maintenance needs via in-room system.
• Follows safety policies and uses safety equipment as required.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Cleans guestrooms including duties such as making beds, vacuuming, emptying trash, wiping down or dusting all surfaces.
• Replenishes all guest amenities and information folders as needed.
• Cleans bathrooms by scrubbing basins, bathtubs, shower walls and doors, toilets, and tile floors with damp cleaning cloths and proper chemicals when applicable.
• Replenishes all amenities such as ashtrays, soaps and tissues.
• Places clean bathmats on tubs and/or shower doors and clean towels on towel racks.
• Reports unusual room conditions or rooms in need of repair. Reports status of rooms clean/unclean, vacant/occupied via the in-room phone system.
• Completes all duties in accordance with the room classification checklist.
• Follows all safety policies and guidelines of the department, Company, State or Federal authorities. Utilizes safety equipment as required.
• Utilizes safety equipment as required.
• Performs all other job- related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
