Job summary

Saint Joseph Hospital - Elgin is seeking a part-time Guest Relations/Receptionist in the Security Department to welcome staff and visitors and handle essential administrative tasks in a healthcare setting.

You will support performance improvement activities, uphold professional standards, and collaborate with leaders, physicians, employees and guests while maintaining courtesy and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous receptionist or customer service experience, ideally in a healthcare setting.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Extreme attention to detail.
• Expertise in Microsoft Office.
• Bi-lingual, preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $15.00 to $21.72. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
