Job summary

Eataly North America in Boston is seeking a Front End Lead to oversee day-to-day front end and cashier operations, reporting to the Front End Manager. You will handle transactions, approve voids and discounts, and ensure accurate cash handling.

This role requires 2+ years retail experience, strong math skills, and basic computer skills with MS Office. Availability to work onsite, weekends, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a retail setting.
• Ability to handle money accurately and perform mathematical calculations.
• Intermediate computer skills including e-mail and Microsoft Office.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Job Description

The Front End Lead assists in the day-to-day Front End and cashier operations of the store.Reports to the Front End Manager.

• Handles monetary transactions and performs advanced cashiering duties
• Approves voids, employee discounts, returns and exchanges
• Processes and settles daily cash and credit transactions
• Documents and communicates overages, shortages, sales data and technical or price discrepancies, communicating issues to the appropriate managers and departments
• Processes and monitors currency orders to ensure that cash is always available for transactions
• Performs other duties as required or assigned

The Hourly rate for this role is : $22.00-$24.00

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a retail setting
• Ability to handle money accurately and perform mathematical calculations
• Intermediate computer skills including e-mail and Microsoft Office
• Bachelor's Degree preferred

Job Requirements

• Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including weekends
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting
