Job summary

Sabres & ROCH - Buffalo Sabres is seeking a part-time parking attendant to ensure guest safety and provide excellent service during events at the arena. You will monitor access, perform surveillance rounds, handle cash, and maintain daily logs.

Responsibilities include greeting patrons, reporting safety issues, and remaining calm in all situations while complying with policies. This position requires standing for long periods and working evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Must be able to obtain New York State certification and be of good character.
• Previous parking lot and/or security experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of service to patrons before, during, and after events.
• Must be able to accurately and responsibly handle money and create change in a fast-paced environment.
• Monitor the access and egress of patrons in the parking ramp and surface parking lot.
• Conduct routine surveillance rounds around the parking lots including the immediate perimeter.
• Perform other related duties or tasks as assigned or as become evident.
• Remain calm and professional in all situations.
• Monitor assigned areas within the parking lots to ensure guest safety and compliance with building policy.
• Remove trash, debris, and refuse. Take trash materials to the proper location and dispose of it properly.
• Greet, monitor and control the movements of patrons, visitors, employees and contractors.
• Report pertinent safety, maintenance and personnel information to supervisor.
• Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times.
• Create documentation for all pertinent events and maintain daily log sheets.
