Job summary

Western New York Arena, LLC is looking for a Parking Attendant to support guests at events in Buffalo. This part-time position requires standing for long periods, working in all weather, and handling cash with accuracy while delivering friendly service.

Responsibilities include monitoring access, patrolling parking areas, and documenting events with daily logs. NY certification eligibility is required, and prior parking/security experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must obtain New York State certification and be of good character.
• Previous parking lot and/or security experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of service to patrons before, during, and after events.
• Must be able to accurately and responsibly handle money and create change in a fast-paced environment.
• Monitor the access and egress of patrons in the parking ramp and surface parking lot.
• Conduct routine surveillance rounds around the parking lots including the immediate perimeter.
• Remain calm and professional in all situations.
• Greet, monitor and control the movements of patrons, visitors, employees and contractors.
• Create documentation for all pertinent events and maintain daily log sheets.
