Job summary

ExplorUS in Seal Harbor, Maine, is seeking a Server to deliver timely, friendly service in our resort/concession setting. You will take orders, relay to the kitchen via POS, and ensure guests enjoy meals and beverages in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include handling payments, maintaining cash accuracy, and supporting front-of-house duties while adhering to health, safety, and company policies. A ServSafe certification and flexible shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Must obtain ServSafe Certification.
• Excellent customer service and people skills.
• Able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, holiday shifts.
• Must have excellent communication skills and be able to count change and reconcile paperwork.
• Majority of shift will be on feet in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately take orders from guests and submit to kitchen using POS; deliver food and drinks; bus tables or assist busser/runner.
• Knowledge of restaurant and bar menu promotions and specials.
• Prepare checks, process credit cards, accept and make accurate change for cash payments.
• Ensure beverages are served in accordance with regulations and company procedures.
• Provide timely, courteous service to all guests throughout the meal.
• Set tables, polish glasses, prepare workstations and other side work as assigned.
• Prepare sales and tip reports at shift's end and deposit cash and receipts.
