Responsibilities

• Completes opening/closing side work to prepare dining room, bar, kitchen, and service stations.
• Cleans and organizes assigned stations before mealtime rush.
• Greets and welcomes guests professionally.
• Presents menus and provides detailed information about portions, ingredients, and allergies.
• Applies knowledge of the full menu and restaurant operations (hours, table numbers, payment options).
• Uses suggestive selling to promote specials and desserts.
• Checks dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness.
• Serves customers in a professional manner per training guidelines.
• Maintains service areas during the shift; cross-serves and assists teammates as needed.
• Carries service trays in/out of kitchen, bar, and dining room.
• Provides excellent customer service to guests.
• Receives payments, completes guest checks, and tender proper change.
• Thanks guests and invites them back.
• Turns in all cash/change transactions at end of shift.
• Follows health department regulations.
• Communicates health/safety concerns to management.
• Re-stocks items and alerts staff of stock shortages.
