Job summary

Generation Hospitality Group is seeking a Server to create a welcoming dining experience. This full-time, hourly role requires attention to detail, hospitality passion, and efficient work in a fast-paced setting.

You will guide guests through the menu, take and deliver orders, and ensure attentive service from arrival to departure. Work with kitchen and bar teams to maintain smooth operations, uphold cleanliness and safety standards, and provide guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a server or customer-facing role preferred.
• Strong verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to provide consistently high levels of guest service in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills and comfort handling cash and electronic payments.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; lift and carry trays up to 25 lbs/11 kg.
• Reliable, punctual; flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Willingness to learn menu items and basic food & beverage knowledge.
• Minimum age as required by local law; may need food handler or alcohol service certifications.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and warmly; present menus and explain specials.
• Take and enter accurate food and beverage orders into POS.
• Serve food and beverages timely with correct presentation.
• Check in with guests to anticipate needs and resolve concerns quickly.
• Maintain knowledge of the menu, ingredients, and dietary restrictions.
• Prepare and serve non-alcoholic beverages; coordinate with bar staff for alcohol orders.
• Handle payments and process cash and card transactions.
• Set up, clear, and reset tables; maintain cleanliness for next guests.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
