Job summary

Olympia Hospitality in Louisville, KY is hiring a Server Assistant to deliver friendly, efficient service in a busy dining setting.

You will support expo and service areas, stock and stock replenishment, know the menu, assist with requests, and engage guests to meet their needs with accuracy and a smile.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in getting expo line and carry-out supplies ready for service.
• Fill condiment containers, ice, and anything else needed for fast execution of meal running.
• Know menu, menu prices, composition of food and beverage items, familiar with daily specials and plating procedures.
• Upsell/sell food and beverages by describing items to guests.
• Provide courteous guest service and respond to guest requests.
• Be knowledgeable in POS to ring in orders.
• Confirm orders with guests and address allergies or concerns before sending to the kitchen.
• Close guest checks and secure payment.
• Stock supplies daily: condiments, plates, glassware, silverware, trays, napkins, etc.
• Clean and stock refrigerators with drinks and dairy.
