Job summary

Olympia Hospitality is seeking a server assistant to provide excellent guest service in a fast-paced dining environment. You will assist with expo and carry-out, learn the menu, and support the service team to ensure timely, accurate orders.

The role emphasizes friendly communication, attentiveness, and a positive attitude, with opportunities to grow within a values-driven hospitality group.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in getting expo line and carry-out supplies ready for service.
• Fill condiment containers, ice, and items needed for fast service.
• Know menu, prices, and daily specials; maintain proper plating procedures.
• Upsell/suggestive selling of food and drinks when appropriate.
• Provide courteous guest service and respond to guest requests.
• Be proficient in POS to ring in orders.
• Confirm orders with guests and clarify allergies or concerns.
• Close checks and file payments safely at end of shift.
• Stock daily supplies and maintain refrigerators.
