Job summary

SENECA HOSPITALITY LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeper Supervisor to support the housekeeping manager in maintaining cleanliness standards across all hotel areas. You will inspect rooms, report maintenance, manage supplies, assist in inventories, and ensure guest service excellence.

This role requires physical stamina, the ability to follow safety procedures, and the willingness to assist in daily housekeeping tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent; on-the-job training may substitute for a degree.
• 1 year of hotel housekeeping experience; brand experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand chemical labels and Safety Data Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Inspects all areas of the hotel that the department cleans and rectifies issues.
• Reports maintenance issues promptly.
• Checks vacant rooms and cleaned stay-over rooms.
• Ensures housekeeping carts are stocked and tidy with linens and supplies.
• Reports unusual activity or areas of concern to the manager.
• Keeps storage rooms clean and stocked with linen supplies daily.
• Follows safety procedures and key-control practices.
• Reports room status to the Front Desk promptly.
• Assists in inventory control, VIP requests, and monthly room inspections.
• Provides courteous guest service and responds to questions or requests.
• When needed, assists in daily laundry, housekeeping, and houseman tasks.
• Additional duties may be added at management’s discretion.
