Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels is seeking a diligent Room Attendant to clean guest rooms and public spaces, and assist in the laundry facility as needed. You will work with the Housekeeping Management Team to maintain brand standards, ensuring total guest satisfaction.

The role requires basic housekeeping experience, English proficiency, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 75 pounds and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English is preferred; other languages beneficial.
• Physically able to stand, bend, lift up to 75 pounds, and work mornings/evenings/weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Sonesta Service in all guest and client interactions according to G.U.E.S.T. standards.
• Clean and service assigned rooms or areas to established standards and procedures.
• Notify supervisor when service is completed so rooms may be sold or occupied.
• When assigned to laundry, operate washers/dryers and handle linens per guidelines.
• Promote teamwork and coordinate with other shifts and departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
