The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and reliable presence across shifts, including mornings and weekends. No prior tenure requirements; basic English is preferred and physical stamina to handle lifting up to 75 pounds as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English is preferred.
• Experience in extended stay properties is preferred.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Sonesta Service in all guest interactions according to the GUEST standards.
• Respond to guest requests and ensure timely action to achieve satisfaction.
• Clean and service assigned rooms and public spaces per standards including beds, dusting, vacuuming, bathrooms.
• Notify supervisor when service is complete or if a room cannot be serviced.
• Work in laundry area: monitor supplies, operate washers/dryers, inspect linens, store clean items.
• Support deep cleaning projects and report needed repairs or unsafe conditions.
• Promote teamwork and effective communication across shifts.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
