Job summary

Sonesta Hotels International Corporation seeks a House Attendant to support the housekeeping team across hotel floors, transporting linens, assisting Room Attendants, and helping with laundry duties. The role includes delivering supplies, cleaning public areas, and assisting with special projects as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.

Applicants should have some housekeeping experience; fluency in English is preferred, with multilingual abilities considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Previous background from the extended stay industry preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English is preferred; other languages beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Deliver linens and supplies to Room Attendants and assist on assigned floors or buildings.
• Clean and organize floor closets and corridors, including trash removal and sweeping/mopping.
• Assist with laundry duties, operate washers/dryers, and fold/store clean linens.
• Respond to guest requests and report repairs or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas, restrooms, storage rooms, and other spaces.
• Support teamwork and communicate with shifts and management to ensure guest satisfaction.
