Job summary

HHM Hospitality's Peregrine restaurant in Boston's Beacon Hill is seeking a Restaurant Server to deliver courteous food and beverage service in line with brand standards. You will take orders, serve guests, clear tables, stock stations, and assist with payments while supporting safety and sustainability guidelines.

The role requires prior food and beverage experience or training, familiarity with POS systems, and potentially TIPS certification.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous food and beverage experience required or equivalent training.
• Knowledge of POS systems.
• TIPS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Set and clear tables in dining areas.
• Stock service stations with items such as ice, napkins, or straws.
• Pick up orders from food preparation areas and ensure food is prepared accordingly.
• Prepare guest checks and, if appropriate, complete payment transactions.
• Perform other food and beverage functions such as bartending and bussing during peak periods.
• Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
• Follow sustainability guidelines and EarthView program practices.
• Practice safe work habits and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
