The Rit Inn & Conference Center in Rochester, NY is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain guest rooms and public areas to our high standards. Open availability, including weekends, is required.

You will engage guests and coworkers professionally, clean guestrooms, replenish supplies, and assist in maintaining cleanliness across the hotel. Previous housekeeping experience preferred and a competitive pay range is offered.

Qualifications

• Cleaning and servicing assigned guestrooms according to standards.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness of public areas as per policy.

• Open availability including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Engage guests, coworkers, and managers in a professional, respectful manner.
• Provide pleasant and professional services to all hotel guests.
• Clean assigned guestrooms and replenish guest amenities and supplies.
• Report and turn in lost and found items according to hotel policy.
• Prepare a list of work orders for maintenance needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized supply cart.
• Maintain housekeeping storage/cart closets and stock levels.
• Operate and maintain housekeeping equipment such as vacuum cleaners and carts.
• Properly maintain all work equipment and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area and restrooms.
