Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Louisville, KY. The role ensures all property equipment works, guest rooms are in good repair, and common areas are well maintained. You will follow Green Shield Binder procedures, perform repairs, and assist with emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience required.
1–3 months related experience and/or training acceptable.
Read, write and speak English proficiently.
Follow safety rules, procedures and company guidelines.
Basic math and measurement skills for daily tasks.

Responsibilities

Ensure property equipment is functioning and rooms are maintained in good repair.
Respond to guest requests and follow up per guidelines.
Perform out-of-room cleaning and maintain cleanliness of building interiors and exteriors.
Execute repairs listed on work orders in a timely and professional manner.
Complete preventative maintenance inspections and report deficiencies.
Maintain organized maintenance areas and safeguard tools.
Assist with emergencies and coordinate with management and vendors.
