Job summary

Homewood Suites Milford is seeking an engineer/maintenance-focused team member to uphold MCR's standards of cleanliness, guest service, and safety.

You will assist with repairs, preventative maintenance, safety compliance, and thorough property walks, while wearing a clean uniform and providing friendly guest contact.

This role offers weekly pay, PTO, and health benefits after 30 days, with opportunities to grow within a dynamic hotel group.

Qualifications

• Technical or vocational training is preferred.
• At least 2 years of work-related experience in a commercial facility, hospitality or related field preferred.
• Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Must be able to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures.
• Must work well in stressful, high‑pressure situations.
• Effective listening and clear communication with guests and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest requests for general repairs when requested, confirm and document completion through the electronic work order platform.
• Preventative Maintenance: keep room and public space PMs up to date and on schedule.
• Follow safety codes; report emergencies to supervisor.
• Perform full property walks at the start and end of each shift; document needs.
• Maintain upkeep of maintenance areas; keep them clean and organized.
