Job summary

MCR is seeking an Engineer for a Loveland, OH hotel property to support guest comfort and hotel operations. You will handle repairs, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure safe, clean spaces across front and back-of-house areas.

Ideal candidates bring a can-do attitude, strong communication, and the ability to follow guidelines under pressure while delivering teamwork and guest-first service.

Qualifications

• Technical, Trade or Vocational school degree preferred.
• Work Experience: At least 2 years in a commercial facility, hospitality or related field preferred.
• Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Must understand and follow established guidelines and procedures.
• Must work well under pressure and handle scheduling demands.
• Ability to listen, resolve conflicts and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests and document completion through the work order system.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance and keep PM tasks up to date.
• Follow safety health codes and report emergencies to supervisor/GM.
• Conduct full property walks at start and end of each shift and note needs.
• Maintain clean, organized maintenance areas during shift and before departure.
