Job summary

Kimpton Fort Lauderdale Beach is seeking a friendly server to provide guests exceptional service, greet guests, explain specials, take orders, enter orders into the POS, and deliver meals with condiments. Maintain cleanliness and comply with alcohol service policies.

Qualifications

• Friendly professional appearance and team player.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and etiquette.
• Ability to carry trays weighing up to 30 lbs and move through a crowded dining room.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner; explain specials and promotions.
• Record details of the order and input into the Point of Sale system; repeat for accuracy.
• Deliver orders with condiments and check accuracy before presenting to guests.
• Abide by all state, federal and corporate policies for serving alcoholic beverages.
• Assist with dessert items or specialty coffees as requested.
