Kimpton Fort Lauderdale Beach, part of HEI Hotels & Resorts, seeks a hospitality-focused team member to provide guests with exceptional service in a fast-paced dining setting. You will greet guests, take and relay orders, and deliver meals with attentiveness to detail and safety.

Qualifications

• Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
• Must be willing to pitch-in and help co-workers as a team player.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards and guest relations.
• Know appropriate table settings, service ware and menu items.
• Ability to remember, recite and promote menu items.
• Transport large trays up to 30lbs and operate beverage equipment as needed.
• Strong communication and ability to adapt style for audiences.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explain specials.
• Record and repeat guest orders to ensure accuracy.
• Input orders into the POS to inform the kitchen.
• Deliver completed orders to guests with condiments.
• Abide by state, federal and corporate alcohol service requirements.
• Replenish beverages and check overall guest satisfaction.
• Present checks and close out the check promptly.
• Adhere to attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
