Job summary

Kaskaid Hospitality in Bloomington, MN is seeking a friendly Wait Assistant to support our dining team during busy service hours. You will clear tables, deliver water and food, and help with side-work to ensure smooth service.

This hourly position requires excellent communication, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Availability including mornings, evenings, and weekends is preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of proper etiquette for table clearing is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work well with others and independently.
• Ability to organize and multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Clean and clear the tables in the dining area.
• Bring glasses of water to newly seated guests and refill water.
• Deliver food to the guests.
• Carry dishes and other tableware to kitchens for cleaning.
• Scrape the dishes, separate the silver, stacks the dishes in the dishwasher area.
• Maintain cleanliness and polish counters, shelves, walls, furniture, or equipment in food service areas.
• Clean up spilled food or drink or broken dishes and remove empty bottles and trash.
• Maintain specific side-work and ensure the total cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant.
• Interact with guests and staff in a friendly/fast manner.
• Treat guests to ensure their complete satisfaction and strive to exceed expectations.
• Report to work in a neat and clean uniform and maintain personal hygiene.
• Work as a team with all CRAVE’s personnel to maintain an effective atmosphere and efficient service.
• Other duties as directed.
