Job summary

Total Wine & More is hiring a Cashier to deliver fast, friendly service and accurate checkout experiences. You will answer questions, promote loyalty programs, and bag purchases while maintaining knowledge of promotions and store policies.

The role includes wine, spirits, and beer training and ensuring a safe, compliant store environment. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–3 years in retail, with familiarity using POS systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years of work experience, 1+ years in a retail setting preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification and payment handling.
• Answer customer questions and promote loyalty programs.
• Greet customers, build relationships, and provide personalized service.
• Bag products and maintain knowledge of ads, promotions, and store programs.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards and ensure lawful alcohol sales.
