Job summary

Cavender’s is seeking a courteous cashier to deliver exemplary customer service and support daily store operations in a fast-paced retail environment. You will greet customers, process POS transactions, help locate products, and promote store promotions while keeping the sales floor clean and organized.

Responsibilities include handling cash/electronic transactions, assisting with merchandising updates, and ensuring accuracy in pricing and displays.

Qualifications

• Provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to operate a POS system and handle cash and electronic transactions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Associate must be able to read and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and deliver Best of the WEST customer service.
• Process purchases, returns, exchanges, and other POS transactions accurately.
• Maintain merchandise accuracy and assist with pricing, displays, and housekeeping.
• Answer customer questions in person and over the phone about products, pricing, promotions, and inventory.
• Assist with merchandising updates, price changes, and store tasks.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor and report safety concerns.
