SA Hospitality Group in New York seeks a courteous counter attendant/barista to greet guests, answer questions, and provide requested items at the café counter. You will ensure accurate rung-in checks and maintain clean, well-stocked displays to support the daily operation.

The role requires basic food handling, strong English communication, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. FIFO adherence and closing procedures are essential components of the job.

Mansioni

• Greet guests at the counter displays and café entrances.
• Answer guest questions related to product and items on display.
• Pack and provide guests with requested items.
• Ensure items are correctly rung in on checks.
• Maintain FIFO and discard expired or substandard items promptly.
• Keep counter and display clean and presentable during hours of operation.
• Complete closing counter checklist before departure.
• Handle cash drawer and conduct checkout after each shift.
• Maintain counter cleanliness in line with Health Department standards.
• Restock counter items at end of shift, e.g., cookies, oils, etc.
• Prepare packing materials for wrapping items and food products.
• Report any equipment issues to management immediately.
• Date-mark food items at end of shift.
• Perform routine counter maintenance cleaning.
