Job summary

SA Hospitality Group, a New York–based hospitality brand, seeks a counter attendant/barista to greet guests, manage the counter, and fulfill guest requests across its cafés. You will maintain display items, ensure accurate ringing at checkout, and keep the counter clean and stocked to meet health standards.

Responsibilities include answering questions, packing items, restocking, and reporting issues to management.

Qualifications

• Basic food handling, preparation, and cleaning skills.
• Strong time management under high-volume production.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests at the counter and assist with requests.
• Answer guest questions about products and items displayed.
• Pack and provide requested items.
• Ensure items are rung in accurately on checks.
• Maintain display parity and discard expired items per FIFO.
• Keep counter and display neat during hours of operation.
• Complete closing counter checklist before leaving.
• Perform cash drawer checkout after each shift.
• Keep counter organized and clean per Health Department standards.
• Replenish food items and restock counter at shift end.
• Prepare packing materials for wrapping items.
• Communicate problems (lighting, cooling) to management.
• Date items at end of shift.
• Clean counter at end of shift; routine maintenance cleanings.
