Responsibilities

• Greet guests at the counter and in the café display.
• Answer guest questions related to products.
• Pack and provide items upon request.
• Ensure items are rung in correctly on checks.
• Maintain display items with FIFO and discard expired items.
• Keep the counter and display clean throughout hours of operation.
• Complete closing counter checklist before leaving.
• Handle cash drawer checkout after each shift.
• Maintain counter cleanliness per Health Department standards.
• Replenish food items and restock at end of shift.
• Prepare packing materials for wrapping items.
• Report issues (lighting, cooling units) to management promptly.
• Date all items at end of shift.
• Clean the counter at shift end; perform light maintenance as needed.
