Job summary

Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill + Bar in Michigan is seeking a friendly server to Delight our Guests by exceeding expectations in serving food and beverages with courteous, timely service. You will be part of a team that emphasizes our service standards and company values.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, describing the menu, taking orders via POS, delivering meals, bussing tables, handling payments, and maintaining a clean, safe dining area. Legal age to serve alcohol required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and interact with every guest to create a friendly upbeat work environment.
• Familiarize guests with the menu and make appropriate suggestions when requested.
• Take guests orders and input them correctly in the POS using the write, repeat and review rule.
• Serve food and beverages using the Applebee’s TEAM delivery system.
• Pre bus table and sweep the surrounding area to keep it clean and comfortable.
• Collect payment from customers in a timely manner using the QR code or POS.
• Completes daily cleaning work tasks and maintains a clean and safe working environment.
• Anticipate guests' needs in order to facilitate an enjoyable dining experience.
