Job summary

Hilton New Orleans Airport is seeking a friendly server to provide food and beverage service to guests, take accurate orders, and deliver items in a timely, courteous manner.

In this role you will greet guests, explain specials, input orders into the POS, ensure order accuracy, and process checks according to hotel procedures. Attention to liquor regulations and guest satisfaction is essential to success in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Six months to one year serving experience preferred.
• Must obtain Louisiana Responsible Vendor Permit.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, timely, and professional manner.
• Record and input orders into the POS system, then deliver to guests with condiments.
• Greet guests and explain specials and promotions.
• Check station setup and maintain cleanliness; ensure room service as required.
• Follow liquor regulations regarding minors and intoxicated guests.
• Replenish beverages and present checks per hotel procedures.
• Assist with side duties and answer calls or seat guests per Hilton guidelines.
• Attend required meetings.
