Job summary

HMSHost is hiring a Server at the New Orleans Airport F&B location. You will take food and beverage orders, enter orders efficiently, and serve guests in your section while coordinating with the kitchen to ensure timely service and high-quality food.

This non-exempt role emphasizes delivering exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced environment. The position requires prior serving experience, ability to lift up to 20 lbs, and excellent communication with guests and team members.

Qualifications

• Must meet state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages.
• Requires at least 6 months of closely related serving experience, high-volume or fast casual setting preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 20 lbs.
• Must be able to walk, bend, twist, and stand for normal job functions.

Responsibilities

• Takes food and beverage orders, places orders, delivers orders and checks back for guest satisfaction.
• Maintains table appearance, pre-bussing, checks drink levels, cleans as needed.
• Presents check and handles payment and change.
• Follows HMSHost customer service, alcohol service and cash handling policies.
• Keeps station clean and sets up/takes down tables.
